THEATRE

Angus has composed original scores for Olivier Award-winning productions, with recent work performed across London, New York, and beyond.

He has collaborated with leading directors including Rebecca Frecknall, Dominic Cooke, Lyndsey Turner and Jordan Fein, with credits spanning major venues such as the National Theatre, Almeida Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, Trafalgar Studios, and Soho Theatre.

A long-standing collaboration with Rebecca Frecknall has led to celebrated productions including A Streetcar Named Desire, starring Paul Mescal and featuring a live onstage percussionist, and Summer and Smoke, scored for nine upright pianos encircling the stage. Both premiered at the Almeida Theatre before transferring to the West End, and each went on to win the Olivier Award for Best Revival.

His original score for the Prologue to Cabaret - a 70-minute immersive experience for four live musicians and five dancers which precedes the acclimaed musical, is now in its fourth year in the West End and second year on Broadway.

Most recently, Angus composed the score for Mrs Warren’s Profession in the West End, directed by Dominic Cooke and starring Imelda Staunton.
